Barbara Bush Middle School Participates in African-American Male Academic Bowl

This past weekend, Barbara Bush students participated in the African-American Male Academic Bowl. They had a great time! A few of our teams advanced to additional rounds, but did not move to the championship rounds. Even though they did not move on, they had a great time and gained a great experience. A very special thank you to Ms. Grider and Mrs. Bose for not only their help in preparing the boys, but in helping on Saturday! Way to go, Broncos!

We are so very proud of 8th graders Tony Baker, Nick Goins, and Andre Robinson! They competed in the "Aiming for the Stars African American Male Academic Bowl" this past Saturday at University of Texas at Dallas. This experience involved studying, competing, and making it all the way to the fourth round, further than any other team in our district! They represented Vivian Field and our sponsors, Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, very well! Way to go, Vikings!

Barbara Bush Middle School Hosts Student Teachers from Korea

As an IB World School, Ranchview High School has been fortunate to have teachers from Ewha University, observing and teaching our students for the last few days. Coming all the way from Seoul, South Korea, we have learned about their language, their history and their culture. Other student teachers have been observing and teaching at Las Colinas Elementary and Ranchview High School. We applaud these young ladies for being risk-takers by teaching about many diverse topics in their second language.
