Learning Letters and Sounds
Point to the picture and say its name.
Then, point to the letter and say the sound that letter makes.
Read uppercase letters and say the name of the picture.
Read lowercase letters and say the name of the picture.
Read every other box, starting sometimes with a, and sometimes with b.
Read the chart backward.
Point randomly to letters and ask child to read the letters and say the sound.
Have the child point to each letter while reading.
