Ellen McLoughlin
My name is Ellen McLoughlin, Assistant Principal of E. L. Kent Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management from Texas Tech University and a Master of Education degree from the University of North Texas.
I have served Texas public school children and their families and worked full-time since 1998 in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I taught at Blalack Middle School, have been an assistant principal at six elementary schools and served as an assessment coordinator for the district before coming to Kent.
I am married and all three of my children attended Kent Elementary. When we moved to the Dallas area 1989, we wanted to live in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I am thankful our family found the perfect house to make our home and that the district became my professional home as well.
