Dress Policy

Shirts must be solid navy, white or red and may be long or short sleeve. If possible this year short or long sleeved shirts must be a knit polo style with collar. Solid color turtlenecks and sweaters may also be worn
in cooler weather and should also be of navy, red or white. No large logos are allowed. (Small emblems such as a polo emblem are acceptable.) Uniform colors apply to socks, leggings/tights, sweaters, sweatshirts and hoodies.

The items above must be khaki or navy in color and should not be of jean-type material. Shorts, skirts, jumpers and skorts must be fingertip length or longer when the arms are extended down the side of the leg. The pockets of pants or shorts can extend no longer than the fingertips when they are extended down the side.

Closed toe shoes should be worn for safety and be appropriate for running and other physical activities.

Families may find all of these items at reasonable prices at local retailers like Target, J.C. Penney, Mervyns, Kohl’s and others.

Spirit Days

Students may wear McLaughlin/Strickland Spirit wear on Fridays with khaki or navy blue bottoms.

Rolling backpacks must be carried inside the building.
