The General Maintenance Department is made up of a Department Head, Lead Man, two Pest Control, two Playground and Fence Preventative Maintenance, and two Roofers. This is a total of eight positions that covers 55 facilities and 74 modular classrooms – a total building area of 4.8 million square feet.
The General Maintenance Department is responsible for a wide spectrum of Maintenance items along with a large portion of the in-house construction, roofing repair, ADA modifications, integrated pest management, pest control, fire extinguishers, fencing, dirt work, and playgrounds.
Most of the time, the General Maintenance Department will have at least a portion of the personnel concentrating on in-house renovations and projects, leaving the remaining people to cover the items described above.
