Mary Grimes Education Center is an integral part of our school district’s commitment to serve all students from entry to graduation. Mary Grimes Education Center provides a setting for high school students whose needs are not met in the traditional school.
Mary Grimes has been recognized as an exemplary program. It has received the Governor’s Award of Excellence and served as one of eighteen mentor high schools in Texas, the only alternative program chosen. In addition, the school helps Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD achieve one of the lowest dropout rates in the state.
