Assistant Principal – Marina Sakran
I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at Bea Salazar and Mary Grimes this school year! My desire is to guide and support students set higher goals, and to help each of them develop a plan of action to reach his/her goals. My hope is that each student will leave both learning centers with new learning, new goals, and lots of hope for a successful future!
I received a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology from York University in Toronto, Canada, where I grew up. I moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1988 and received a Master’s degree in Education and Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
I have enjoyed almost 30 years of experience teaching PK-6th grade students (all subjects), and for the majority of those years within CFB, I have thoroughly enjoyed my work as an assistant principal at both the elementary, and more recently, the secondary levels.
Looking forward to a great year for our students! Hope to meet you soon!
