Principal-Melissa Wesley
Welcome to all students and parents!
This will be my sixth year serving as the principal of alternative education in CFBISD. I have over twenty years of administrative experience serving as both an assistant principal and principal in Louisiana and in Texas. I have been a part of the CFB team for 10 years, previously working as an assistant principal at Creekview High School. As a teacher, I taught secondary Social Studies at all levels.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from LSU in Secondary Education and my Master’s degree also from LSU in Curriculum and Instruction. I am married to Martin Wesley who teaches NJROTC at Turner High School. We have 4 children and enjoy traveling to visit our family.
I am proud to serve as the principal for both the Mary Grimes Education Center and the Bea Salazar Learning Center.
