Welcome to Janie Stark Elementary, home of the Stallions! I am honored to serve the staff, students, and community of a school with such a rich tradition of excellence.
2019-2020 will begin my 17th year in education. I have had the privilege of serving students as a teacher, instructional specialist, and administrator over the course of my career. With each experience, I have developed a relentless commitment to the academic, social, and emotional success for all students. I believe every child can learn and succeed with the influence of amazing educators, positive parent-school relationships, and a joyful and engaging learning environment!
I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science and the University of Texas at Arlington with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
I am so blessed to have a wonderful network of family and friends that surround me. I have been married for 16 years to my college sweetheart and we have two beautiful children, Avery (13) and Aiden (10). You can find us enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, or watching movies in our spare time. Personally, I enjoy running and reading to relax and unwind.
I am so honored to serve the students, families, and community of Janie Stark. My door is always open and I welcome your conversation and collaboration as we work together to make Stark the best educational experience for all students. I look forward to walking alongside you this year as we celebrate our success together!
