Students living outside the CFBISD attendance zone may apply to attend PreK in CFBISD. We offer both free and tuition-based PreK. A child must be four-years-old on or before Sep. 1 of the enrolling school year to be eligible. Space is limited. Applications will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free PreK Qualifications
If your child is approved to enroll in CFBISD Prek, you will work directly with the campus to see if you meet one of the following criteria for Free PreK.
- Limited English proficient (TEC, §29.153(b))
- Economically disadvantaged
- Homeless (42 USC, §11302, and 42 USC, §11434(a))
- A child of an active duty member of the United States armed forces
- A child of a member of the United States armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
- A child in foster care (presently or in the past)
- A child of a recipient of the Star of Texas Award
Pay for Full Day PreK Cost
If your child does not qualify for free PreK, you may apply for Pay Prek.
$100 non-refundable application fee
$550 per month pay for Pre-K plan
