My name is Jose Ramos and it is my honor to be the Principal of Dave Blair Elementary. In my 13th year in Education, I have served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Education was the natural career path for me due to the tremendous positive impact that teachers had on my life. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Crime & Justice Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Education in Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with an emphasis on ELLs from Southern Methodist University.
I am married to my beautiful wife Monique and have two precious daughters, Monroe and Syler. I try to instill in our students the motto…
