Checkout Policy
The checkout period for all grades is three weeks.
Each student may check out 3 books.
*Students may check out extra books as needed for special projects or research.
Library Schedule
The library operates on a fixed/flexible schedule.
Most English classes schedule library visits every 3 weeks. (Remember to renew or return your books as it is your responsibility, not your teachers).
Additionally, classes are scheduled in the library for projects or research.
Students may check out books during open times before or after school or at lunch or when they are finished with class work with a pass from the teacher.
Fines
Students have a grace period from their due dates and overdue fines begin 10 days from the due date; additionally, students must pay for lost or damaged books. Any student unable to pay for overdue fines may work off their fine in off hours in the library.
Additional Information
There is a wide range of databases that students may use for research and college prep courses such as the SAT, ACT, & AP classes. Passwords may be obtained in the library. In addition to books, there is a large number of magazine titles that may be checked out for 5 days at a time.
