After graduating from Boston University in 1990, I moved to Dallas with my wife Lori in 1991. The move south was meant to be only for 2 years … ooooops! Guess not! I am originally from the New York City area and I remain a true blue New York Yankees, Giants, and NY Rangers fan. So sorry my Texas friends! As all good Yankees fans do, I of course 100% loathe the Boston Red Sox … but yet I’d do almost anything to help out a child in need. Quite an interesting dichotomy, huh? I have been in the field of education for over 25 years having taught 6th grade and served as the Janie Stark counselor since 2000. I love my job and there is nothing more I’d rather be doing than helping our teachers, children, and families. Also, over the last few years I’ve developed fun projects like the CFBISD 5th Grade Career Fair, a college financial planning and information website, the Achiever McBeaver Character Education Program, and of course Janie Stark’s Paris the Therapy Dog.
