Laura Gutierrez
Hello, my name is Laura Gutierrez, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Rosemeade Elementary. I am thankful to get to work alongside educators, families, and community members who focus on helping our students reach their full potential.
I have been a member of the CFBISD professional family since 2008. Before becoming a principal, I served as an assistant principal at Janie Stark Elementary and Sheffield Elementary. As a teacher, I taught at McLaughlin/Strickland Elementary.
I grew up in Lubbock, Texas and moved to the area when I began my teaching career. I received my Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Early Childhood Education from Lubbock Christian University in 2007. In 2015, I received my Master’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University in Educational Leadership.
I love getting to spend time with my family, especially my two nephews. My hobbies include playing volleyball, bike riding, and swimming.
Parents, thank you for entrusting us with your children during the school day. Our goal is high achievement for each student. We want to do everything possible to help your child succeed and become a lifelong learner.
