Newman Smith currently competes in BEST UIL Robotics Competition. Students design, build, program, and test their robot created for the current game theme. Students create a technical notebook documenting the Engineering Design Process for their robot, create an 8ftx8ftx8ft display booth to sell their robot, create a 20 minute marketing presentation, and undergo an interview process on the design process and company created for the competition. This competition is student driven and designed. Newman Smith is proud to be a 3 time State Qualifying team for UIL State Robotics.
