Luis Acosta
Greetings Davis Community,
My name is Luis Acosta and this is my 1st year as the Assistant Principal at Davis Elementary School. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and a master’s degree in education leadership from The University of Montana, Missoula
I began my educational career as a bilingual teacher in Alief ISD in the Houston area. I taught in an American school, Colegio Karl C Parrish in Barranquilla, Colombia and also in Lewisville ISD. I have 15 years of administrative experience and thrilled to be part of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Family.
Prior to my educational career, I was a Research Assistant at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I am a very proud father of three children Alexandra, Nicole, and Nelson. I enjoy cooking, listening to all genres of music, and spending time with my children. I am looking forward to serve and know the Davis Elementary School parents, students, staff, and community. Thank you for entrusting me with your children.
