Greetings Mustangs,

I am excited about the new school year at Creekview High School!  This school year I will be serving on the leadership team as the 11th grade Assistant Principal. This is my 13th year in education. I have spent the past five years serving the students and staff of CFB at Newman Smith High School  and Creekview High School as an Assistant Principal.  Prior to joining Team CFB, I taught Chemistry at Mesquite High and John Tyler High School. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and my Master’s degree from Lamar University. I am looking forward to ensuring that all students and staff have a successful school year.

My name is Veronica Rolen and I am excited to  join the Creekview Administration team as the Assistant Principal for the 9th grade.  This is my 15th year in CFB as an educator.   I began my C-FB career in 2005  and have worked as a math teacher, department manager and instructional facilitator at Dan F. Long Middle School and Instructional Math Coach for the District.  Prior to coming to Creekview I spent the last 4 years as an Assistant Principal at Barbara Bush Middle School.   I have a BA in Political Science from University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Master’s in Public Administration from UT Arlington, and a Master’s in Education from TWU.  When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, usually on the soccer pitch.  My husband Anthony and I are the proud parents of 3 girls who are all CFB grads- Faith (23) who is a recent college grad from Southern Arkansas University, Kiara (19), and Lyndsey (18), both of whom are playing soccer at UT Tyler this year.

Assistant Principal at Ranchview High School, Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson

Mr. Anderson earned his bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida State University and began teaching and coaching immediately afterwards. He arrived in Texas in 1998 and worked in DeSoto before moving to CFB in the Spring of 2001. After teaching and coaching in CFB for 12 years, he began work on his master’s degree in Educational Administration at Texas Woman’s University. Upon completion of that degree, he began his administrative career at Ranchview High School from 2015-2018. After that he came to Creekview to become a MUSTANG!

He is married and has six children, ranging in age from 10 to 18. Time away from school is spent going to his children’s activities, hitting the gym and various adventure races, mountain biking, and traveling. Two of his favorite quotes are:

“You are not here to just hang out together. You are here to do something meaningful and produce something amazing together.” –Jon Gordon @jongordon11

“The past is your lesson. The present is your gift. The future is your motivation.” –Damon West @damonwest7
