CFB Thanks Partners in Education
On April 19, CFBISD thanked their Partners in Education for their financial contributions, services, and volunteer hours. The Emcee for the event was R. L. Turner senior, Dillon Odle, who explained that his skills in acting and public speaking were recognized and nurtured in CFB. Odle gave credit to his teachers for helping him succeed and be accepted to his dream school, New York University (NYU). The Newman Smith Jazz Band, under Director Kurt Shafer, performed during the appreciation event. Diane Dobis was recognized with the Frank Shor MTXE (Mental Toughness Extra Effort) Award for going above and beyond with her volunteer work for the district.
