Senior Day

We Love Our Seniors Day—May 12

Let’s Make May 12 Special

CFBISD encourages parents and community members to celebrate the Class of 2020 on their social media accounts on Tuesday, May 12.
Show our CFBISD seniors how much we care for them as they enter the last month of their school career in the district.

Here are a few ideas we are sharing on social media for parents or citizens to do:

  • Show some love for our graduates by posting spirit signs (in person or virtually);
  • Host a drive through parade in a graduates neighborhood;
  • Decorate your car;
  • Post congratulations messages on social media;
  • Coordinate a “clap out loud” campaign.

Health Community Supports CFBISD School Nurses

Thank you CFB Nurses and our Community Partners!

As we remember our wonderful nurses this week, take a look at one of the many trainings they have throughout the year to keep our district healthy and in compliance. Our nurses completed the Stop the Bleed Instructor Course to comply with House Bill 496. Our community partners from  Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern, Dallas Medical Center and Dallas County Medical Reserve Corps collaborated to make this happen for CFBISD. They put their time and resources together to equip our nurses to serve our students and staff.

Thanks to our partners and our CFB nursing staff for taking care of us.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A has been so gracious to support our schools and community through CFB Giving House, Chick-fil-A campus fundraisers and much more! During this time of social distancing, Chick-fil-A  has continued to serve the CFB community.

Serving Families

Chick-fil-A owner, Macy Agnew, (Trinity Mills/Old Denton Dr. location) reached out to our counselors to find families they could assist with specific needs during this difficult time. Our counselors provided stories and areas of need to Chick-fil-A so they could bless our students and families. Today Chick-fil-A staff went out to families to surprise them, making this difficult time a little better.

Thank you Chick-fil-A for giving to our families, students and staff.

Chick-fil-A visited our 3 Carrollton High Schools to provide a tasty lunch to our CFB Student Nutrition staff. Grab and Go takes place every Tuesday, but CFB Student Nutrition works throughout the week to prepare.

Chick-fil-A took on the mission this week to serve those who serve others! Thank you Chick-fil-A for providing a yummy lunch to our hard-working staff at Smith, Turner and Creekview.

To hear more about what our Student Nutrition Department is doing during this time, take a look at this video staring Kristen Hess, Student Nutrition Coordinator.
