The rivalry is back… After four years of not playing, Newman Smith and R.L. Turner will compete on the football field at Standridge Stadium in Carrollton.

Congratulations to the R. L. Turner FFA for winning a 2016 FFA Hunger Heroes Challenge (HHC) Mini-Grant for $500!
R. L. Turner High School – Girls’ Golf Teams Wins 1st Place in the Duck Creek Classic
Tuesday, Oct. 4, the R. L. Turner Girls Golf Team won 1st place in the Duck Creek Classic hosted by Richardson HS. Sophia Garza placed 1st overall, Allison Norris placed 3rd, and Nash Beltran placed 6th and Rese Clark placed 11th. Congratulations!

R. L. Turner Thanks Farmers Branch Walmart for School Supplies
R. L. Turner High School was surprised by the Neighborhood Walmart in Farmers Branch with a HUGE donation of school supplies last week. CFBISD values and appreciates our Partners in Education and community for their support!
Turner Students Travel to Austin
Youth Leadership and Junior Chamber Ambassador students traveled to Austin through the sponsorship of the Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation and Huckabee, Inc. Farmers Branch City Council member Ana Reyes helped coordinate the events of the day for the RLT students.
Students were able to tour the Texas State Capitol, the Lyndon B. Johnson Museum and the UT Austin campus.
Turner Orchestra Receives Prestigious Award
On April 14, 2016, the 5th annual Dallas Summer Musical High School Musical Awards ceremony was held at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The orchestra from R. L. Turner’s production of My Fair Lady was announced as winner in the best student orchestra category.
This is an amazing honor and recognition for R. L. Turner High School and CFBISD!
