Thompson Elementary hosted the 3rd annual Cougar 2K on Thursday, November 17, 2016. This event, hosted by our PTA, raises money for recess equipment and programs throughout the school year. Students participate in a run through the Carrollton Greenbelt while students, parents and community members cheer them on. At the completion of the event, students gathered to celebrate a great run with water, temporary tattoos and a DJ. We are already counting down the days and planning next year’s event!

Thompson Hosts First Annual Cougar 2K15 Fun Run

Thompson Elementary was thrilled to host its first annual Cougar 2K15 fun run.  Students spent the weeks prior to the run collecting pledges.  Any proceeds from the run will be used to purchase soccer goals and dance dance revolution for the P.E. program.

Students, teachers, parents, even Dr. Burns, came out to support the school.  We had a great time and can’t wait until next year when we do it again!
