Creekview & Ranchview Soccer Teams Advance to State Playoffs

Bi-District Champions & Playoff Information

Congratulations to all four soccer teams for advancing in the State Soccer Playoffs- BI DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Way to go Mustangs and Wolves! Congratulations to our outstanding coaches: Coach Heather Medlen and Coach Vincent Jovel from Creekview and Coach Jonathan Hall and Coach Jarred Garcia from Ranchview. You and your team have made CFBISD proud!

Here is the following playoff information for each advancing team:

All teams play FRIDAY MARCH 31, 2017 and ALL TICKET PRICES are: $5.00-Adult and $3.00-Student. 14-5A pass will work for Creekview games and 10-4A pass will work for Ranchview games.

6:00 pm – Creekview GIRLS (V) vs. Highland Park (H) @ Wild Cat/Ram Stadium (Lake Highland HS) located at 9449 Church Road, Dallas, 75238.

7:00 pm – Creekview BOYS vs. Mt. Pleasant @ Royse City Stadium located at 6595 FM road 2642, Royse City, 75189.

7:00 pm – Ranchview GIRLS (V) vs. Mabank (H) @ City Bank Stadium (Forney ISD) located at 800 FM road 741, Forney, 75126.

7:00 pm – Ranchview BOYS (H) vs. Ferris (V) @ Forester Field located at 8233 Military Parkway, Dallas, 75227.

Ranchview Golf District 10-4A Results

The Ranchview women's golf team earned the schools 6th district women's golf title at Tenison Golf Park on Wednesday March 22 and Thursday March 23rd and became District 10-4A Champions. Senior Ava Castillo captured her 4th district low medalist honor!  The men's team placed second. Junior Andrew Ahn shot a personal best 77 and finished in second place as a medalist.  Ranchview golfers include: Senior Ava Marie Castillo Senior Priyanka Pohar Senior Ann Marie Wang Junior Joann Yang  Senior Scott Williams Junior Andrew Ahn Sophomore Zhongyuan Wang Freshman Noah Kim Freshman Kiano Kelly  Both Teams advance to Regionals at the Van Zandt Country Club in Canton April 24-27  Congratulations!

The Ranchview women’s golf team earned the schools 6th district women’s golf title at Tenison Golf Park on Wednesday March 22 and Thursday March 23rd and became District 10-4A Champions.

Ranchview Boys & Girls Soccer Headed to Playoffs!

Congratulations to the Ranchview Boys & Girls Soccer Teams in their inaugural year of play – they both made the State Playoffs! The Boys were District Champions and the girls were Runner Ups.

Playoff info for the upcoming Bi-District Game:

Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at Irving School Stadium – 600 E. Sixth Street, Irving, TX 75060 – Located adjacent to Bowie MS
Game times are:
6:30PM – Girls Game : Ranchview vs Pinkston HS
8:00PM – Boys Game: Ranchview vs Roosevelt HS
Ticket prices: $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students/Children
Passes Accepted: 10-4A Adm Pass, THSCA, TGCA

Ranchview Student Sets Golf Record

Ranchview High School golfer Ava Castillo had a record setting performance at the Jesuit Dallas Invitational Tournament at Brookhavon Country Club in Farmers Branch. Ava shot a 77 in her final senior varsity golf tournament before the district tournament. Her score of 77 is the lowest recorded score ever by a Ranchview H.S. varsity girl golfer. Ava Castillo finished tied for 5th place out a strong field of 108 girls. The District Tournament will be March 22 - 23 at The Tenison Glens Course in Dallas. Congrats, Ava!

Ranchview Students Earn Division Medals at the UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition

On January 25th students from the Ranchview Band participated in the Region 31 UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition at Coppell HS.  The students had amazing performances and represented Ranchview well. In total, Ranchview earned 44 first division medals including 27 students qualifying for the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest.  Congratulations to all the students below!

Of the 27 advancing to State, the 9 students listed below memorized their solo and earned a 1st division qualifying them to advance to State:

Ranchview Lady Wolves Heading to Regional Tournament

Congratulations to the Ranchview Lady Wolves as they captured a big win on Tuesday, February 21, becoming the Regional Quarterfinals Champion! Way to go Wolves!  Take a look at what Head Basketball Coach, Wendy Bartlett, has to say about the upcoming tournament.

THE ROAD TO THE STATE BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS CONTINUES AS THE WOLVES NEXT JOURNEY TAKES THEM TO THE UIL REGIONAL GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IN COMMERCE!

Ranchview will take on Gilmer in the Regional Semi Final Game on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Field House located on the campus of TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY – COMMERCE, Lee Street, Commerce, Texas 75428.
Ticket prices are $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Student/Child per session.

Ranchview High School Basketball Star Dominating at Texas Tech

Ranchview High School Basketball Star Dominating at Texas Tech

Ranchview High School Basketball alumnus, Niem Stevenson (#10), is dominating for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Stevenson currently averages 9.0 points per game and 3.7 rebounds a game for the Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Team. His statistics continue to improve throughout the season. Stevenson was top scorer in games against number fourth ranked Baylor University and number third ranked Kansas University.

People in Lubbock are noticing Stevenson’s stellar play for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech’s newest basketball advertisements features Stevenson. He is number 10 on the above poster.

Niem Stevenson Dominates on the Court

Stevenson was a standout star at Ranchview High School. He averaged 25 points per game his senior year, which helped the Wolves make the playoffs. Stevenson was named All-State at Ranchview, and was honored with district MVP his senior year.

Stevenson was a Junior College All-American for Seward County Community College. He accumulated 24.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He selected the Red Raiders after interest from North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oregon, Kansas and Texas A&M University. Top analysts from around the country consider Stevenson to e one of the top wing scorers in the nation.

Ranchview Athletics Makes a Difference

The Ranchview High School Basketball program has a rich tradition of producing quality athletes that have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Coach Boyd prepares his athletes for success on and off the court. Ranchview High School athletics takes pride in building leaders who make valuable contributions to society after their playing days are over.

Texas Tech’s next game will be against Big 12 rival Oklahoma State on February 25. You can catch the game and number 10 Niem Stevenson on ESPNU at 1 PM. Check your cable provider for channel information.
