Barbara Bush Middle School Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Arrow
Arrow

Barbara Bush Middle School kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with an open mic event.  Sra. G. Flores, the Bush Middle School Teacher of the Month, is an amazing addition to the campus this year. She and her artistic and talented husband created all of the beautiful props for the photo booth, and they also personally donated all of the delicious food, beautiful tablecloth, music and more!  The children were invited to read from a text found in the Mavon Wall Texas History Collection:  The history of the life of Miguel Hildago and the Mexican War of Independence, marking the beginning of Hispanic American Heritage Month! It really was a smash!
