Creekview Powerlifters Place at PrincetonCreekview Powerlifters Place at Princeton Invitational on Jan. 20. The Creekview High School powerlifting team consists of boys’ and girls’ teams. The competition field consisted of 17 different schools with over 200 total lifters vying for top place. The competition was held at Princeton High School in Princeton, TX.

CHS Wrestling Takes State Runner-Up

CHS Wrestling Takes State Runner-UpCHS Wrestling Takes State Runner-Up for 2018. The Creekview High School Boys’ Wrestling team travelled to El Paso to compete in the UIL-5A Boys Dual State Championships. The competition was held at at Del Valle High School. The top 16 teams according to last year’s state tournament standings are invited to this prestigious event. After a day filled with intense battles and fighting through adversity, Creekview Wrestling finished as the State Runner-Up. Standout performances came from James Yarbro and Isaiah Ayala who both finished the day with a 4-0 record. These athletes as they have been preparing for years for this level of competition. Results are as follows:

Ranchview & Creekview Golf Invitational Results

The Ranchview Invitational was held on Tuesday, November 14, at the Tribute Golf links.

Capturing First prize for the Boys medalists was Creekview High School senior, Kyle Cox.

Kyle displayed poise and patience as he birdied  3 consecutive holes and made a terrific par save on hole #17 to fire a score of 1 under par 71 and win by 1 shot over a very competitive boys field.

Ranchview freshman Bohyun Park won her third tournament of the 2017 Fall campaign by firing an incredible round of 67 in very windy and difficult conditions. She overcame an early 3 shot deficit and executed incredible ball striking skills in route to a 6 birdies 1 bogey and 12 pars.

The dynamic CFBISD golfing duo of Cox and Park represented their schools with sportsmanship and courage!

Creekview Golf Competes at Ranchview Invitational

Creekview Varsity golfers competed at the Ranchview Invitational at the Tribute Golf Club.  They had a great day on a beautiful course.  Kyle Cox shot a 71 to take home the individual title by one shot.  This is his 10th career high school tournament win. Esperanza Santiago and Brendan Stout also played well, each firing their 2nd best career score.

Ranchview Football Headed to Playoffs

Congratulations to the Ranchview Wolves Football Team for advancing in the UIL STATE FOOTBALL Playoffs.

They will be taking on Kennedale this Friday, Nov 17th, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the CEDAR HILL ISD STADIUM located at #1 Longhorn Blvd., Cedar Hill, Texas.

Ranchview is the home team.

Ticket prices at the GATE: $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Students

NO PRE SALE TICKETS available.

Passes Accepted: 6-4A Adm Pass.

PARKING FEE: $5.00 per vehicle to enter the parking lot.

STADIUM RULES: NO OUTSIDE BAGS – Only purses are allowed. No outside food or beverage allowed in the stadium. No balloons, confetti, or horns allowed inside the stadium.

RHS Golfer Wins Robson Ranch Competition

RHS Golfer Takes First Place at Robson Ranch Competition

RHS Golfer Takes First Place at Robson Ranch CompetitionRanchview High School Freshman golfer, Bohyun Park, competed last Friday and Saturday at the Robson Ranch Golf Club. She played against some of the Top 6A schools in the metroplex. Bohyun scored a Friday round of 77 and found herself 6 strokes behind the leader.

On Saturday, in the very difficult prevailing Southern winds, Bohyun charged ahead with a comeback round of  69 and took First Place. Coach Kevin Kelson said of Park, “She displayed incredible skills and patience in winning her second consecutive golf tournament.”

Ranchview Senior, Rachel Kim, also competed – with this being her third golf tournament ever. Coach Kelson stated, “Rachel never wavered in her determination to improve. She displayed True grit and composure!”

Polk Middle School Football Team Sets Overall Record of 31-1

On October 31st, the Polk Middle School 8th grade football A-team completed an undefeated district championship.  Even more impressive, the core freshmen group at Newman Smith went 15-1 in 7th and 8th grade, and this 8th grade group went 16-0 in 7th and 8th grade, setting an overall record of 31-1.

Freshman Breaks Ranchview Golf Record

Freshman Breaks Ranchview Golf RecordBohyun Park has broken the low-scoring Ranchview golf record by scoring a 74 on Oct. 20. The Lady Wolf freshman passed the previous record by firing an impressive round of 70 for her tournament debut at Champion Circle. Additionally, Park broke the record she had set the following day with a round of 66. Park secured her first High School Golf Tournament Champions Medal at the Eaton Eagle Invitational.

RHS Senior Golfer Finishes Strong

Ava Castillo has had an impressive high school career.  She has represented CFBISD and Ranchview High school with the heart and spirit of a pro.  She participated in her last Class 4A tournament on May 14-15 at the Slick Rock course in Marble Falls.

In the first day of the tournament, Ava scored a 99. The following day she displayed the mental toughness that she has done throughout her career at Ranchview.  She came back and fired her State Tournament best 82. She finished with a score a 181 for the 2 days and tied for 31st place out of 72 golfers.
Ava has been the District Champion All 4 years while at Ranchview. She has made the All-Region team (top 10 medalists) all 4 years. She led the girls team to the State tournament her freshman year and has qualified and participated in the State Tournament 3 out of the 4 years here at Ranchview.
She closed out her career with a par on the difficult 18th hole at Slick Rock hitting a remarkable 5 wood into the wind from 160 yards to within 20 feet of the hole. While her playing days at Ranchview have come to an end, she exits as the most decorated golfer in the history of Ranchview High School Golf.
