Ranchview Wolves Move Onto UIL Tournament

Congratulations to the Ranchview Boys Soccer Team in defeating Kaufman with a score of 4-2.  They will now move onto the UIL Regional Soccer Tournament this Friday, April 7th, in Tyler.

We are very proud of the Wolves as they continue their inaugural season on their road to the State Tournament! Congratulations to Coach Garcia and his team for continuing to make CFBISD proud.

Here is the information for the Region II – 4A Regional Tournament:

Ranchview (home team) will take on Chapel Hill (visitors) at 6:30 pm this Friday night (4/7/17) at the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler, Texas located at 609 Fairpark Dr.
Tyler, TX 75702.

Upon winning this game, the Wolves would play the next day on Saturday at 1:30 pm at the same location for the Regional Championship Game.

All fans will enter on the home side and both the visiting and home fans will sit together on the home side. No outside food or drink is allowed – concession stand will be open.
We do get a few free tickets – Please let me know if you would like to be considered for these tickets and I will get with Coach Garcia to pick up your ticket at his Friday morning meeting. No District Passes will be accepted.

Ticket Prices are: $7.00 for Adults and $4.00 for Students.

Ranchview Boys Soccer Team Advances in State Playoffs

Ranchview Boys Heading to UIL Playoffs

Congratulations to the Ranchview Wolves on their impressive win from last Friday night to advance them into the next round of the UIL State Soccer Playoffs!

Next round for the Boys is Regional Quarter Finals.

Here is the playoff information:

Ranchview (home team) will take on Kaufman (visiting team) on Tuesday April 4th (tomorrow) at 7:30 p.m. at the Desoto Eagle Stadium located at 600 Eagle Drive, Desoto, Texas 75115. Exit west off I-35 at Belt Line Rd., to Westmoreland south, then to Eagle Dr. Stadium located at the Ben Dial Athletic Complex.

Ticket prices: $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
The 10-4A Administrator Pass will be accepted.

Ranchview High School Basketball Star Dominating at Texas Tech

Ranchview High School Basketball alumnus, Niem Stevenson (#10), is dominating for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Stevenson currently averages 9.0 points per game and 3.7 rebounds a game for the Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Team. His statistics continue to improve throughout the season. Stevenson was top scorer in games against number fourth ranked Baylor University and number third ranked Kansas University.

People in Lubbock are noticing Stevenson’s stellar play for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech’s newest basketball advertisements features Stevenson. He is number 10 on the above poster.

Niem Stevenson Dominates on the Court

Stevenson was a standout star at Ranchview High School. He averaged 25 points per game his senior year, which helped the Wolves make the playoffs. Stevenson was named All-State at Ranchview, and was honored with district MVP his senior year.

Stevenson was a Junior College All-American for Seward County Community College. He accumulated 24.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He selected the Red Raiders after interest from North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oregon, Kansas and Texas A&M University. Top analysts from around the country consider Stevenson to e one of the top wing scorers in the nation.

Ranchview Athletics Makes a Difference

The Ranchview High School Basketball program has a rich tradition of producing quality athletes that have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Coach Boyd prepares his athletes for success on and off the court. Ranchview High School athletics takes pride in building leaders who make valuable contributions to society after their playing days are over.

Texas Tech’s next game will be against Big 12 rival Oklahoma State on February 25. You can catch the game and number 10 Niem Stevenson on ESPNU at 1 PM. Check your cable provider for channel information.
