Assistant Principal – Mike MillerÂ
Hello Lions,
My name is Michael Miller and it is my pleasure to serve as the Principal of the College of Arts and Humanities for RL Turner HS. I am beginning my second year at Turner.   Before coming to Turner I served as an Administrator at Newman Smith High School for four years. As a teacher I taught math, primarily Algebra and Geometry, at DeWitt Perry Middle School for twelve years.  Educationally, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Harding University and a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University.
I am part of a CFB family. We have lived in district for 25 years. My wife taught elementary at Blanton and is currently a librarian at Creekview High School.   All three of my children attended K thru 12 in the district and my grandson starts Kindergarten at a CFB elementary this year.
I believe all students can and will achieve with the proper support and guidance. My passion is helping students find their passion and grow in it. And while helping students  graduate is important, my vision is preparing students to be integral members of a thriving community.
I cut myself recently and noticed an interesting phenomena… I bleed Turner Blue!  I am excited to be here and looking forward to working with you. Please call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.
