Monday – Friday,  7:45 AM – 2:55 PM
(Tech Team is in the library from 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM for announcements.)

Checkout Policy

The checkout period for all grades is two weeks.
Kindergarten and 1^st grade: 1 book
2^nd grade: 2 books
3^rd grade: 3 books
4^th grade: 3 books plus a magazine (if desired)
5^th grade: 4 items with special access to the 5^th grade shelf

*Students may check out extra books as needed for special projects or research.

Library Schedule

The library operates on a flexible schedule.
Kindergarten, 1^st, and 2^nd grades visit the library weekly.  3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grades come with their class every other week.  In addition, students may visit the library as needed during open checkout hours.  Students may visit the library as needed during open checkout hours.
Additionally, classes are scheduled in the library for projects or research.

Students participate in Makerspaces daily in the library during extra specials.

Fines

There are no overdue fines; however, students must pay for lost or damaged books.

Additional Information

Our library hosts book clubs for advanced 4^th and 5^th grade readers. The library provides many enriching activities for students, such as the Bluebonnet Reading Program, Library Olympics, and two silent reading afternoons per month.  Our library also hosts book clubs for advanced 4^th and 5^th grade readers.  Davis Elementary’s annual book fair will be in February.  Stay tuned for more details about upcoming events in the library!
