Congratulations to our Vivian Field Middle School 7th grade volleyball team! On September 10th, the Lady Vikings defeated Polk Middle School in a nail-biter at their very first home game! The girls constantly worked together and never lost sight of their goal! Let’s go Vikings!

Parent Education – Depression and Anxiety
More than 75 parents attended a Parent Education training session on September 12, 2018 on helping their child with depression and anxiety. CFBISD partnered with PTA Council to host this event. A Parent’s Guide to Anxiety and Depression: What’s typical for children and teens and what’s not?
We had 79 people in attendance –the highest number for a parent education event in the past 3 years- from 22 different schools: 12 Elementary Schools, 5 Middle Schools and 5 High Schools. We had 8 families use the Spanish interpretation and 26 kids in childcare.

Creekview Tennis Dominates
The Creekview Mustang tennis team took their overall record to 4-0 with a 19-0 victory over Bryan Adams to start district play! We play The Colony in a non-district match this Friday in The Colony and Thomas Jefferson here at Creekview next Tuesday to continue district competition.
