The Creekview High School theatre department will be performing the musical, The Little Mermaid, this November. Ticket prices range from $5-12. Performances include Broadway-quality sets and performances by Creekview High School student singers and dancers. The musical will be performed in the Creekview High School Auditorium, 3201 Old Denton Rd., Carrollton, TX, 75007.

On Oct. 9, Early College High School students visited the Federal Reserve in Dallas, TX. Students learned about the history of the Federal Reserve and changes around the country. The students learned how money is made and how it is distributed. The trip to the Fed helped to augment what students are learning in their economics classes at Brookhaven College. ECHS Student, Oscar, commented, “we learned about the different types of currency that was issued before and how different the bills were. My favorite part of the field trip was the video of the bills, were they went and the process to determine if a bill was valid for circulation or not.”
