Ranchview High School Wolfpack swimmers competed at the annual District Swim Meet held in The Colony on Jan. 18, scoring 8 new personal best times. RHS senior, Allysa Garcia, took 3rd place in the 100m Butterfly, shaving additional second off her own school record. Freshman Ellie Gayden continues to best her solid time and advancement in the 100m Freestyle event. These swimmers teamed up with Maina Atluri and Lerymar Rivera in all 3 relays to advance on to regionals.
Brothers Ishan and Ahan Mistry will be representing Ranchview in their individual swims. Ishan will be swimming the 50m Freestyle and Ahan will swim the 500m Freestyle.
Advancing to Regionals

Swimming will be held in 2 weeks. Friday is prelims and Finals will take place in Frisco on Saturday.

In honor of
R. L. Turner High School basketball players Ronnie and Ronniah Akins are scoring leaders for their respective basketball teams. Ronniah, a sophomore on the girls’ team, and her brother Ronnie, a senior on the boys’ team, regularly practice together to improve their skills. The sibling duo, originally from Arkansas, have the potential to “lead Turner basketball to the play-offs,” according to Mike Ramirez, CFBISD Athletic Director.
