Ranchview High School Educator Named Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction

Leslie Cappiello, a teacher at Ranchview High has been selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).  Leslie has been a role model to pupils and was nominated for outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in the classroom.

Each year student members of NSHSS are invited to nominate the educator who has made the most significant contribution to their academic career for the Claes Nobel Education of Distinction award.  This honor recognizes exemplary educations whose passion and devotion inspire their students to grow and develop as scholars, leaders and citizens.

Farmers Branch Carrollton Art Association Student/Scholarship Show

The Farmer’s Branch Carrollton Art Association will be hosting their annual Student/Scholarship Show from Saturday, November 2 through Friday, December 6 at the Farmer’s Branch Manske Library, 13613 Webb Chapel Road, Farmer’s Branch, Texas.
The show is open to all high school students in the Carrollton Farmer’s Branch ISD. Scholarships are given to graduating seniors planning to major in art at an accredited college, university, or academy.

Great News for Creekview & Ranchview Volleyball!

Congratulations to two of our CFB ISD high schools as they will move onto post season playoffs tomorrow night, Nov 1st, 2016.

Ranchview Volleyball are the 10-4A undefeated District Champions. This is the second year in the row! Way to go Wolves!

Ranchview will take on Sanger HS tomorrow night, Tuesday, Nov 1st at 6:30 pm in the Flower Mound MARCUS Gym located at 5707 Morriss Road, Flower Mound, Texas 75028
Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults, and $3.00 for students. Passes accepted: 10-4A Adm. Pass.

Creekview Volleyball won a playoff seed match last Friday night to secure second place in District 14-5A. Way to go Mustangs!

Creekview will take on Frisco HS tomorrow night, Tuesday, Nov 1st at 6:30 pm in Frisco at Lebanon Trail High School Gym located at 5151 Ohio Drive, Frisco, Texas 75035

Ranchview Band Earns First Division

The Ranchview Band performed at the Region 31 Marching Contest at Pennington Field in the blazing heat on Tuesday, October 18.   They have worked extremely hard all season to put a great product on the field for competition. All three judges awarded the band 1st Division “Superior” ratings giving them a First Division Superior rating in marching!

Ranchview Teacher Has Poem Selected for McKinney Art Festival

Congratulations to Ranchview Teacher, Dr. Leslie Cappiello, for having her poems “Night Fire” accepted for the McKinney Arts in Bloom Festival on October 8th.  An artist will be painting an interpretation of the poem for display at the festival.  Congratulations Dr. Cappiello.

Ranchview High School – CFBISD Campus Information Student Life For Parents IB Campus Contacts Girls team 2016 District 10-4A Champions.

The Ranchview Lady Wolves won the schools 5th girls district TEAM title on March 24, 2016 by firing a score of  427 at Luna Vista golf course (March 23rd)  and a 440 at the Tribute. Junior Ava Castillo was low medalist Champion for 2016 District 10-4A with a 2day total of 180. The Lady Wolves will advance to the Class 4A Region II Tournament held at Van Zandt Country Club. Members of the team including Ava are Senior Irene Bae, Senior Ruby Lopez, Junior Priyanka Pohar and Junior Ann Wang. Congratulations ladies!
