CFBISD is hosting a parent education presentation on “Keeping Your Child Safe From Harm – In the Real and Virtual World” on November 2, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the ESDC in the Texas Room. We are excited to present this very important information to our CFBISD families. We will have both an English and Spanish presentation.

Creekview Choir Advances 28 Students in Texas All-State Choir Process
On Sept. 24, Creekview Choir students competed in the first round of the Texas All-State Choir process. Directors Tara Sikon and Cody Alarcon congratulate the following 28 students who have advanced to the next round. Auditions are set for Oct. 15 at Colleyville Heritage High School.

Creekview Student Represented CFBISD at Science and Technology Conference
Creekview 10th grade student Hannah Hinojosa represented Creekview and the state of Texas at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts this summer. This conference is part of The National Leadership Academies and has Nobel Prize winners, former astronauts, United States Surgeon Generals and other prominent names in the technology and scientific community presenting and leading sessions.
We are very proud of her as she represented herself, Creekview, and the state of Texas so very well!
Creekview Girls’ Golf Wins District and Advances to Regionals
The Creekview Girls’ golf team won a second consecutive district title. The team put in a dominant performance, winning the tournament by 128 shots. Ciera Silva led the team, winning the individual title by 11 shots. All four girls finished with 1st team All-District honors.

Creekview Speech Team Members Advance to Regionals
The Creekview Speech team competed at UIL District.

Creekview Softball Continues to Dominate
Creekview Softball players Kara Bramhall, LeeAnn Blanchard, and Kaitlynn Burress each homered Tuesday afternoon, propelling the Mustang softball team to a 16-0 win over Hillcrest. Raina Abbott and Blanchard both batted four runners in for the Mustangs while Kaylee Culpepper picked up the win. The Mustangs are now 8-1 in district, 11-10-1 overall, and will host North Dallas Friday night.
Creekview Boys’ Golf Advances to Regionals
The Creekview Boys’ Golf team has finished second in the district tournament. Kyle Cox led the team, winning the individual title by 10 shots.

Dakota Wilson: 91-108 (26 shot improvement from districts last year)
Oscar Salguero: 102-110 (30 shot improvement)
Cameron Chopra: 102-113 (35 shot improvement)
Rhys Livingston: 118-100 (67 shot improvement)
The boys will compete in the regional tournament April 11-12.
Creekview Student Wins Prestigious Art Honor
Every year, the TVAA hosts a metroplex wide art competition. Thousands of works from across the metroplex are entered and only a few make the show. This year, Marissa Ashman won first place for jewelry. This strawberry shortcake was forged from sheet metal and is about the size of a silver dollar.
Creekview Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Advance to Regionals
Creekview Girls’ and Boys’ Tennis has 9 players advancing to the Regional Tournament. Boys’ Doubles finishing 1st and 4th, Boys’ Singles finishing 1st, Girls’ Doubles finishing 2nd, and Mixed Doubles finishing 1st and 2nd. With these results, Creekview took home the 1st place Boys’ Team trophy and the 2nd place Girls’ Team trophy.
