Hello and welcome! My name is Laura Brewer and I am the Art teacher at Perry. A little about myself… I have been teaching since 2003 and have been teaching Art at Perry since 2012. I consider myself very fortunate to work with kids every day… even crazy middle schoolers.
I grew up in Edmond, OK where my family still lives. I went to the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER!!!) where I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2003. After graduating from college I moved to Charlotte, NC where I taught for 7 years. I also went back to school and earned my master’s degree in Art Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I am excited to be working at Perry with some of my best friends, an incredible faculty & staff, and some of the most talented students I’ve seen! I look forward to another fabulous year and can’t wait to see all of the creativity my Perry students have to offer!!!
