Visiting at Lunch
- Please sit at the front tables in the lunch room with your student only.
- Please bring food only for your student. Parents may not bring food for other students.
When visitors, volunteers or contractors check-in, or parents come to pick up students, they will be asked to present a valid state issue ID for entering into the system. After your ID is scanned, a photo sticker will be printed for you to wear in the building. The system has the ability to provide alerts on people who may jeopardize the safety of the campus.
Once your driver’s license or state ID has been scanned, you do not have to continue to present it upon entering – simply let the person at the front desk know who you are and then we will access your information and print a new photo sticker. As long as the photo in our system matches the person attempting to check in, we don’t have a problem.
We feel certain this will contribute to campus safety, and ask for your cooperation in presenting your valid state issue ID when checking in at the school.
What Data is Used – Public sex offender database information is used to screen visitors to the campus, as well as private alert data entered by the school on custody issues and restraining orders. This is NOT a background search – no other criminal information is searched or provided such as traffic tickets, warrants, felonies, etc.
Privacy Policy – The data collected is exclusively for the use of the school, school district, and law enforcement only. This information is NOT sold or shared with any outside sources.
