Countdown to Pre-K - Registration Begins April 1

Countdown to Pre-K - Registration Begins April 1Pre-K Early Registration begins April 1, 6:30 PM, at the campus your child will attend.

Pre-K Early registration will continue on regular school days between 8 AM – 3 PM.

Full Day Schools

Carrollton, Central, Freeman, Furneaux, Kent, McWhorter, and Riverchase Elementary campuses.

Half Day Schools

Farmers Branch, Good, McKamy, and Stark Elementary campuses.

Tuition-Based Pre-K locations

All schools listed above.

Free Pre-K Qualifications

Students can qualify for free Pre-K if they meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Limited English proficient (TEC, §29.153(b))
  2. Economically disadvantaged
  3. Homeless (42 USC, §11302, and 42 USC, §11434(a))
  4. A child of an active duty member of the United States armed forces
  5. A child of a member of the United States armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
  6. A child in foster care (presently or in the past)
  7. A child of a recipient of the Star of Texas Award
