



Trojan Debaters Declared Co-Champions
Newman Smith High School debaters Kaushkik Jampala and C.J. Sanchez were declared Co-Champions at the Colleyville Heritage Winter Invitational. Jampala and Sanchez were crowned Co-Champions in the Novice Lincoln Douglas division of Debate. The Trojan debaters beat competitors from Grapevine, Greenhill, Southlake Carroll, and Trinity Valley Christian High Schools in a display of determination. Additionally, Jampala was named the 2nd overall Speaker in the division and received a special award for his speaking ability. Smith High School teacher, Chris Agee, stated, “Great win! Practice and hard work are paying off for the NSHS Debate Team!”
