The 2018-2019 Cougar News Network, is off to a great start! We have 9 eager 4th and 5th graders leading our daily live announcements sharing the weather, lunch, birthdays, and must know news items for the students at Thompson Elementary.
The students (who applied with teacher recommendation last year) had to agree to be a leader for our school, write a catchy announcement to keep the student population attention, and arrive early to be ready to go live at 7:35 A.M.. Â They are busy learning how to write scripts, work the camera, and will soon add the power of a green screen to their list of tricks!
Applications for the 2019-2020 news crew will be available to 3rd and 4th graders at the beginning of May!
This is a great opportunity for Thompson students!
