RLT Student Wins Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest

RLT Student Wins Rotary 4-Way Speech ContestRLT student wins Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest competing against the best and brightest of the other high schools in CFB. R. L. Turner High School Lion, Edgar Avila took 1st place at the competition. The 4-way test for Rotarians is a set of principles that members recite at meetings every week. The test is a reminder of members’ duty to themselves and their communities.  The four principles are:

  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it fair to all concerned?
  3. Does it build good will and better friendships?
  4. Is it beneficial to all concerned?

Participants write and present a timed speech based on these principles of Rotary to the club.
