RLT Grad Playing Professional Soccer

RLT grad playing professional soccer in Iceland. R. L. Turner High School graduate, Hanna Barker, has just signed a professional contract with FC Hafnarfjarðar. In 2014, Barker was awarded a scholarship to play soccer at Stephen F. Austin University. Regarded as one of SFA’s all-time greats in the sport, Barker’s coach stated, “Along the way she has inspired the next group of Ladyjack soccer players coming through our program and no doubt they will be hungry to blaze a path similar to hers.” While attending RLT, Barker was a two-time all-district offensive and team MVP. Additionally, Barker ranked in the top 10 of the Dallas Morning News’ scoring leaders twice while at Turner.
