Ranchview Student Wins Medal at World Karate Federation Youth Cup

Saisheren Senpon, currently a Junior at Ranchview High School has successfully participated in the 9th World Karate Federation Youth Training Camp and World Youth Cup held in Umag, Croatia in July. Saisheren won a Bronze medal in Male Cadet (14-15 yrs) Kumite -63kg division. He won 4 rounds and lost in a round by 1-0 score. He was the first Team USA Karate person to win a medal in Kumite division the and only one from Texas to win a medal at World Youth Cup.
