AVID, or Advancement Via Individual Determination, in CFBISD is providing a support system to look at a future that many students didn’t think was possible. AVID is an opportunity to close the gap for students who might not have the same opportunities as others. Regardless of their life circumstances, AVID students overcome obstacles and achieve success. They graduate and attend college at higher rates, but more importantly, they can think critically, collaborate, and set high expectations to confidently conquer the challenges that await them. AVID is making a difference in the lives of our students in elementary, middle and high school.
