Perry Middle School Student Has Second Book Published
DeWitt Perry Middle School student, Arnav Koppala, has had his second book published. Breaking Boundaries is the sequel to his first published book, Pentagon Springs. Koppala is a student in the LEAP program at CFB and credits the program with helping him being successful in his writing. Inspired by authors like Rick Riordan, Koppala published his first book while in 5th grade at McCoy Elementary. This feat makes him the youngest author in the U.S to publish a school-based science fiction novel series.
In his just-published sequel, the main character from Pentagon Springs reappears with his friends to embark on their journey through middle school. The group of students in Breaking Boundaries explore the mysteries of magic as they tap into other dimensions.
The author has a strong interest in particle and quantum physics, which helps to fuel his story ideas on time travel and inter-dimensional travel. In addition to writing, Koppala plays the violin and guitar, models, and acts.
He is donating a portion of the proceeds to his latest book to Save a Child’s Heart Foundation.
