Perry 2.0, which is the high school off-shoot of the Perry Robotics club (and 100% former Perry students), went to Florida this July to participate in the Global Conference on Educational Robotics and international Botball competition. There were over 60 teams representing multiple countries at the conference and tournament. Perry 2.0 did very well over the 5 days of competition, surviving until the last day and making the finals of the competition, placing in the top 10. Earlier in the year, the club dominated the Oklahoma/Texas regional placing 1st, 2nd and 4th overall.
