NJROTC Completes Hundreds of Community Service Hours
While helping at the Carrollton Festival at the Switchyard, the R. L. Turner High School NJROTC Completes Hundreds of Community Service Hours. The large festival is held annually at the Old Historic Downtown Carrollton square. Cadets from the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) volunteered throughout the event. During the Nov. 4 event, cadets instructed the games, assisted with directions, and acted as safety monitors. The volunteers greeted a record number of guests to the festival and participated in the clean-up efforts throughout the day.
