Parking
We have plenty of parking at Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD’s Tommy Standridge Stadium, 1330 W. Valwood Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75006. The stadium is located 1/2 mile west of Interstate 35 North at the corner of Valwood Parkway and Hutton. We ask that you park on the west side of the stadium (the press box/home side).
Awards
Chronotrack timing will be used at this event. You must wear a tag to be timed and eligible for awards. Â
- 1st Overall Male and Female
- 1st Place Team (largest team/most participants registered)
- Team Spirit Awards (wear costumes and show your enthusiasm!)
- Top 3 Male and Female in each of the following age groups: 12 & under; 13-17; 18-22; 23-27; 28-32; 33-37; 38-42; 43-47; 48-52; 53-57; 58 & older
Honoring a Legacy of Love
As an R. L. Turner High School freshman, Kacie Brekhus became involved in the Torch Run, benefiting Special Olympics. As a senior, she served as the student coordinator. Kacie died in a traffic accident in October 2003 while a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin.
