Pre-Kindergarten Options in CFB
CFB Parents now have some new Pre-K options for the 2017 school year. In addition to half-day federally-funded Pre-K for children who qualify, some campuses are now offering full-day Pre-Kindergarten and parents can now opt to pay for full-day Pre-K for their child at one of four campuses. Pre-K parents who are also CFB employees may opt to instead enroll their child in the Child Development Academy.
Because we want you to be aware of the choices available, we have a helpful flowchart to help determine the program that your child qualifies for:
- Half Day Pre-K for Students Eligible Under Federal Guidelines (Half Day Eligible)
- Full Day Pre-K for Students Eligible Under Federal Guidelines at Specific CFBISD Campuses (Full Day Eligible)
- Full Day Pre-K that Parent Can Choose to Pay For the Program at Specific CFBISD Campuses (Pay for Pre-K)
- Children of Employees – Can attend the Child Development Academy, Pay for Pre-K, or could qualify for the federally-funded Pre-K
We will begin taking online applications for tuition-supported (pay for full-day Pre-K) on Mar. 20, 2017.
