On Apr. 12, the students at McCoy Elementary hosted the Cowboy Wax Museum. The second-grade Cowboys chose an influential person to emulate as a human version of a wax figure. They did research on the person they chose and created a display that provided landmark dates and biographical information on the person.
People of influence
Some of the people chosen included world leaders, former presidents, astronauts, inventors, athletes, CEOs, and pioneers for civil liberties. Each booth had a giant red button, and when the button was pressed, the wax figure would come to life and explain about their life and influence.
