Freeman Students Explore STEM
Freeman students explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) on the last Friday of each month. Students work in small teams to solve a different problem each month. The problem might involve how to engineer a paper airplane so that it can carry a cargo and still maintain flight. Another project might involve building a bridge that can support a toy car. The students collaborate together and come up with a plan on how to execute their ideas. The project helps foster leadership, team-building, and problem solving.
