Mission: Treat every customer With Exceptional CARE
The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Human Resources department works diligently to attract, engage and retain the best talent to provide quality services to our students. Led by Chief of Staff Derrell Coleman, the HR team has 80 years of combined years of service in CFBISD. The department provides support to employees from the beginning to the end of their employment with the District.
“The Human Resources Department strives to hire the best and most qualified teachers for our students, “ says Mr. Coleman. “100 hundred percent of our teachers are highly qualified and certified. It’s always rewarding to see former CFB students come back to the District as teachers in our classrooms.”
The major functions of Human Resources include recruiting, hiring, employee orientation and training, verifying certification, setting compensation, establishing and enforcing district policies and processes, developing timelines for staff evaluation and contract renewals, mitigating and investigating complaints or disputes, and interpreting and enforcing employment labor laws.
