Children of CFBISD Employees – Can Attend the Child Development Academy or Pay for Pre-K
Note- Children of employees could qualify for the federally funded half-day or full- day program. See if your child qualifies for Federally funded Pre-K.
Employees may choose to pay to send their child to full-day Pre-K at Carrollton, Central, Farmers Branch, Freeman, Furneaux, Good, Kent, McKamy, McWhorter, Riverchase, Stark Elementary Schools.
Space is limited, and enrollment will be accepted on a first come first served basis. In order to reserve a spot, a completed application and a non-refundable down payment of $100 must be received by CFBISD. Additionally, employees may also opt to have their four-year old attend the Child Development Academy (CDA).
Pay for Pre-K on Campuses
There is a one-time, non-refundable application and supply fee of $100 that must be paid upon completion of the online application. The first month’s tuition will be due before the beginning of Pre-K.
Tuition for Full-Day Pre-K is $550/month for 9 months, for a total of $4,950 ($5050 including the 1-time non-refundable $100 application and supply fee).
Tuition for Half-Day Pre-K is $275/month for 9 months, for a total of $2,475 ($2575 including the 1-time non-refundable $100 application and supply fee). Monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month (unless the 15th falls on a weekend, in which it is due the Friday before).
Children attending full-day Pre-K will attend 7:40 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.
Children attending half-day Pre-K in the morning will attend 7:40 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.
Children attending half-day Pre-K in the afternoon will attend 11:55 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.
